International Competition

The three presidents of the following juries (Italo Moscati, Elena Stancarelli, Hill Harper) have awarded the Maximo Award to (winners chosen among the three competing categories):

  • Best Overall Product: Burn Up (United Kingdom, 2008) - producers: Christopher Hall/Kudos Film and TV ltd/Seven 24 Films
  • Best Supporting Actor: Marc Warren for Burn Up
  • Best Supporting Actress: Natalia Rybicka for Londyńczycy
  • Best Director: Heinrich Breloer for Buddenbrooks
  • Best Score: Hans Peter Ströe for Buddenbrooks

The international juries of the "TV Movie" category, chaired by Italo Moscati, of the "Miniseries" category chaired by Elena Stancanelli and of the "Continuing Series" category chaired by Hill Harper have awarded the following prizes:

  • Best Product in the "TV Movie" category: Buddenbrooks (Germany/Austria/France, 2008)
  • Best Leading Actor in the "TV Movie" category: Mark Waschke for Buddenbrooks
  • Best Leading Actress in the "TV Movie" category: Isabelle Adjani for La journée de la jupe (France, 2008)
  • Special Mention in the "TV Movie" category: C.C.Д. (Russia, 2008)
  • Best Product in the "Miniseries" category: Burn Up (United Kingdom, 2008)
  • Best Leading Actor in the "Miniseries" category: David Fox for Across the River to Motor City
  • Best Leading Actress in the "Miniseries" category: Wunmi Mosaku for Moses Jones
  • Best Product in the "Continuing Series" category: Londyńczycy (Polonia, 2008)
  • Best Leading Actor in the "Continuing Series" category: David Threlfall for Shameless - Season Six

Released Italian TV Drama Competition

The jury of the Released Italian TV Drama Competition chaired by Enrica Bonaccorti awarded the following:
