The first edition of the festival was held July 2-7, 2007

International Competition. The three presidents of the following juries (Assumtata Serna, Josée Dayan, Alexander Siddig) have awarded the Maximo Diamond to (winners chosen among the three competing categories):

• Best Overall Product: Perfect Parents by Joe Ahearne - producers: Nicole Cauvernier/Granadamedia for ITV, Great Britain.
• The international juries of the "TV Movie" category, chaired by Assumtata Serna, of the "Miniseries" category chaired by Josée Dayan and of the "Continuing Series" category chaired by Alexander Siddig have awarded the following prizes:
• Best Product in the "TV Movie" category: Perfect Parents by Joe Ahearne (Great Britain)
• Best Director in the "TV Movie" category: Sergey Bobrov for Posledny Zaboy (Russia)
• Best Leading Actor in the "TV Movie" category: Cristopher Eccleston for Perfect Parents by Joe Ahearne
• Best Leading Actress in the "TV Movie" category: Anne Caillon for L'etrangère - Collection McDonald by José Pinheiro (France)
• Special in memoriam Award in the "TV Movie" category: Jean-Claude Brialy for Monsieur Max by Gabriel Aghion
• Best Product in the "Miniseries" category: Giuseppe Moscati - L'amore che guarisce by Giacomo Campiotti
• Best Director in the "Miniseries" category: Marco Risi for L'ultimo padrino
• Best Leading Actor in the "Miniseries" category: Pierfrancesco Favino for Liberi di giocare by Francesco Micciché
• Best Leading Actress in the "Miniseries" category: Helen Mirren for Prime Suspect: The Final Act by Philip Martin
• Best Product in the "Continuing Series" category: Little Mosque on the Prairie directed by Michael Kennedy
• Best Director in the "Continuing Series" category: Mohamad-Reza Honarmand for Zir-E Tigh (Iran)
• Best Leading Actor in the "Continuing Series" category: Parviz Parastoei for Zir-E Tigh
• Best Leading Actress in the "Continuing Series" category: Elda Alvigini for I Cesaroni - season two by Francesco Vicario (Italy)

The juries made up of screenwriters belonging to Sact/100 Autori in the "TV Movie", "Miniseries" and "Continuing Series" categories have awarded the following prizes:

• Best Script in the "TV Movie" category: Joe Ahearne for Perfect Parents
• Best Script in the "Miniseries" category: Frank Deasy for Prime Suspect: The Final Act by Philippe Martin
• Best Script in the "Continuing Series" category: Rebecca Schechter, Alan Rae, Jackie May, Susan Flanders-Alexander, Dar Redican, Zarqa Nawaz for Little Mosque on the Prairie directed by Michael Kennedy (Canada)

Released Italian TV Drama Competition. An international jury made up of FIPRESCI critics has awarded the following prizes:

• Best Television Product: Maria Montessori - Una vita per i bambini by Gianluca Maria Tavarelli
• Best Director: Michele Soavi for Nassiryia - Per non dimenticare
• Best Script in the "TV Movie" category: Gianmario Pagano and Monica Zapelli for Maria Montessori - Una vita per i bambini
• Best Leading Actor: Rolando Ravello for Crimini - Terapia d'urto by Monica Stambrini and for Il Pirata - Marco Pantani by Claudio Bonivento
• Best Leading Actress: Paola Cortellesi for Maria Montessori - Una vita per i bambini

The jury of the Best Imaging 2007, chaired by Sergio Salvati awarded the following prizes:
