ROMA FICTION FEST ROMA FICTION FEST

The 9th Roma Fiction Fest will be the occasion for the presentation of 11 pilot projects funded as part of "Progetto Zero", the public tender launched in 2013 by the Lazio Region, which allocated € 400,000 to support startups for audiovisual projects proposed by young people under the age of 35. In 2014, 11 projects were selected out of over 500 applications, and received funding for the production of a "number zero " or a pilot product (series, television broadcast, documentary, reality), along with 39 SME willing to co-produce the initiative and 89 tutors ready to support the young people in their process of experimentation, planning and working with the SME. As announced during the past edition by the President of the Lazio Region Nicola Zingaretti, the winning projects, which were produced this year, will be screened for the public during a special evening event at the RomaFictionFest 2015. The "Progetto Zero" tender is part of the project known as "Creativi Digitali", promoted by the Regione Lazio with the POR Fesr 2007-2013 funds, which is organized into four different tenders: Project Zero, App-on, New Book 2014; total allocation, € 4 million.
